Meet Eric Faulkner

Candidate for Temecula City Council

I am married to the beautiful Cassandra Faulkner and we have been married for 30 years. We have 2 adult children and we are extremely proud of them both. I have called Temecula home for 27 years. After living in Escondido and Oceanside we were looking for an affordable, safe, great school district and healthy city. Temecula met all requirements!

Eric Faulkner’s Experience

Military Service and Deployment

Served in the United States Navy for 27 years.
Rose to the rank of Master Chief.
Deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Career Transition to Education

Transitioned to employment as a Relationship Manager for Kaplan University.
Facilitated connections between service members and accelerated degree programs.
Assisted in the creation of accelerated degree programs.
Earned a Master of Science in Health Administration - Trident University International
Earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (Magna Cum Laude) - Trident University Internal

Healthcare Administration

Managed the Escondido Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
Responsible for providing primary and mental healthcare to 5000 Veterans.

Government Service and Improvement Initiatives

Worked as a Management Analyst with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Contributed to improving Veterans' experience with benefits, healthcare, and cemetery support.

Community Leadership

Served for 4 years as a Race, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) Commissioner with the city.
Currently leading the commission as Chair.
Represented the REDI Commission on the Blue-Ribbon Committee drafting the Quality of Life Master Plan defining the city's focus through 2040.
Assigned to and currently serves on the Riverside County Civilian Use of Force Advisory Council

Community Engagement and Mentorship

Served as a Board of Directors member for The View Church
Engaged in the community as a Big with the Big Brother Big Sisters program.
Served as member of the Temecula Rotary Club.
